Mehedinți County is located in the south-western part of Romania, in Oltenia, Banat area, at the border with Serbia and Bulgaria. The main city of the region is Drobeta-Turnu Severin, but Orşova, Strehaia and Baia de Aramă are small beautiful towns that would worth visiting.
